The first event that supports this idea is Amanda Byne's fire-incident. Amanda Bynes allegedly set fire in an elderly woman's driveway, along with her own clothes. Before the fire, her pet pomeranian puppy was drenched in gasoline while she was setting the driveway aflame, and surveillence footage showed Bynes running to the nearest gas station holding up her dog and pacing around the store before bee-lining to the "employees only" area. The cashier then found her attempting to wash off the dog in the sink, before she immediately freaked out and left the store. Some time after she set the driveway on fire, a driver reported that he saw Bynes laying on the ground with her pants on fire, with a trail of gas and fire. Beside her were a gas can and a "Super Soaker" squirt gun. Eventually, she was arrested and put in 5150 psychiatric hold and hospitalized
