Time spent on the field or on the court also benefits your health” Which means that physical activity is good for kids and is needed in order to maintain a healthy and worthwhile life. (O’Shei, 12) The Author includes more information when he states “If we cut back school sports some kids will be shut out of sports completely” his next statement is, “Yes, club sports that is, private leagues outside of school would be an option for some, but fees, equipment, and travel expenses can add up to thousands of dollars per season” Which means that children would be shut out of opportunities to participate because of the high amounts of money needing to be payed for private sport lessons or leagues.(O’Shei,12) While public schools say they're all about equal opportunities, if they shut down the programs that they have kids will not equal connections as the students did before them, which is very unfair, going back on how open schools say their “Job is to create and deliver new opportunities.” Juniors need this more than ever, and if we were to shut it all down they could not begin to know what it is like to have this sort of feeling clinging onto them, having a constant positive vibe around …show more content…
Juniors wish to access what is behind locked doors to see what the future has planned for them on the fields, or perhaps a stadium, If the general public wants to take that away some jobs wouldn’t exist in the future.
