Amazing Qoutes by Bill Gates
This should be posted in every school or kid's bedroom.

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about eleven (11) things they did not and will not learn in school.
Rule 1 : Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2 : The world doesn't care about your self-esteem.
The world will expect you to accomplish something
BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school.
You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss
Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity.
Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping:
They called it opportunity.
Rule 6 : If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, Treatment Review * Photofacial – A light based treatment that breaks up melanin and allows the skin to more quickly get rid of surface pigmentation * Cosmelan – A two-part in office and home based topical treatment program that inhibits melanin production and lightens your skin with non-hydroquinone ingredients * MIXTO Laser- A fast-healing laser treatment that has FDA approval for Melasma and Chloasma and Sun-induced hyper pigmentation * Microdermabrasion- Exfoliation of discolored epidermal skin cells using abrasive particles * Chemical Peels – Over-all skin regeneration by chemically causing a peeling of your damaged skin

so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7 : Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were:
So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room..
Rule 8 : Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY

The sun also produces ultraviolet radiation. The radiation absorbs into the skin and as it does, melanin is initiated, making the skin turn a darker color. Sunscreen is recommended but must be generously applied to prevent burning of the skin. Sunglasses, hats, and clothing that has built in SPF are a good way to avoid skin problems and lesions. If melanoma is developed, the area can be removed by excision and may be stitched together to heal. A check-up is necessary to ensure that the cancerous melanoma cells have all been removed and that the healing process is going…

Microdermabrasion is a great way to rejuvenate your skin and restore a healthy, youthful glow. This popular cosmetic dermatology procedure is used to combat sun damage, light scarring and discoloration by gently buffing off the top layer of skin. This helps to stimulate collagen production which in turn spurs new growth for a younger-looking, fresher complexion. Microdermabrasion's continued surge in popularity these days is due in large part to the development of products that enable people to do this treatment in the privacy and comfort of their own homes. Products like creams, solutions and buffing wands eliminate the need to see pricey dermatologists. Virtually painless and downtime free, at-home microdermabrasion is an excellent option for value-minded folks who favor convenience and the privacy of their own home.…

A Chemical peel is a procedure used mainly to improve the appearance of the skin. Usually it is applied to the face, hands or neck. Basically, it consists of a chemical solution to be applied to the skin. That irritates the skin and causes something like a blister, and the skin peels off. The use of sun protection has become a much more common topic of conversation among the general population over the last decade. This can be attributed to several different factors. In some instances, environmental concerns over depleting ozone and higher levels of radiation penetration are the cause. Another important reason is that well over half of all new cancers in the United States are skin cancers (Capelle, 2006, pg. 1). Ultra-violet (UV) light is the cause of these cancers. There are several types of UV light. According to Gonzaga sunlight is made up of a broad spectrum of light. This spectrum is divided by wavelength in UV light. There are three types of UV light; UVA, UVB, and UVC (Gonzaga, 2009, 19). UVC is almost completely absorbed by the ozone. UVA and UVB are the two types of UV light that penetrate and affect people. UVA penetrates deeper into the skin and can cause immediate darkening of pigments, there is increasing thought that UVA may have more to do with photodamage than thought previously (Gonzaga, 2009, 21). UVB light ranges from 290 mm to 320 mm and is carcinogenic. It does not penetrate as deeply into the skin as UVA, however it has several acute effects including…

Imagine you are at the beach on a beautiful summer day. You are lying on a blanket in the sand, enjoying the sun’s warmth, when you hear a commotion from your fellow beach-goers. You approach the circle of people that has now formed around a young man who is lying motionless and unresponsive. You do not see a lifeguard or authority figure close by, and no one else seems to be doing anything to help, so what do you do? The answer is a procedure called Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, or C.P.R. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a cycle of rescue breaths and chest compressions that can help restore circulation to the brain in someone who is not breathing. An individual can suffer permanent brain damage without oxygen for only a few minutes, making C.P.R. very important in times of such a crisis.…

What I have learned from all this is that, “You are whom you hang out with” and “You are what you eat.” What I mean by saying that is that if you are always around good and moral people then you will eventually pick up some of these attributes. My father always told me to always hang around rich people because then one day I will also become rich. I thought that was silly but I eventually understood what he meant by that. Being around wealthy people all the time might mean I will learn things that will make me the same. For example, learning how to conduct business or attract potential investors by the way to act, talk, and dress.…
