Ambition In Macbeth
In the story that we are reading called Macbeth he has a character trait that i could relate to and a character trait that others in this world have. That character trait that is similar to mine is ambition as well as to others, and i will explain it to you why others and i have the same trait as Macbeth witch is ambition. Macbeth has the ambition for power and control, he will do whatever it takes to get that power which in this case he killed the king and his best friend. But before all that Macbeth was a loyal knight who served the king in every deed but then things started to change when he wanted more, he wanted control and power. So he kills the king for the power and kills his best friend which is the son of the king for control. Then his conscious wasn't clean and he began to freak out about killing the king and his one and only best friend, so he started to regret everything he did and wishing that he had never had the ambition for power and control. That's what Macbeth ambition was. …show more content…
However i'm not going to go out killing people instead i'm going to work hard to get what i want which in this case it's to succeed in life and stay strong. Ambition also comes into the world with other people wanting things like a job, they will not beat up people till they get a job instead they go looking around for open spaces in the job they want. It causes the downfall of both Macbeth, and Lady Macbeth and is the main reason for a series of deaths in the play. Ambition is therefore the driving force of the play.     Firstly, it is clear that ambition is important to the Macbeth play because throughout most of the play, Macbeth does everything to protect his position on the throne.
