Ameena Character Analysis
Ameena has helped Caprysha increase her social and emotional skills by being there for Caprysha to call whenever she feels like she is in a bad situation. One part in the documentary specifically was when Caprysha was being harassed at her own apartment. Caprysha was able to call and talk to Ameena. Ameena was than able to calm Caprysha down and stop her from doing something she would have later regretted. By doing this Ameena is teaching Caprysha ways to control her emotions. Ameena as well as the other violence interrupters are pictured doing this throughout the movie. Their job is to intervene in potentially violent situations. Another specific moment in the film was when Cobe was talking to the two brothers who could not get along. Cobe
