It is so hot there. The land is dry and we have only about four inches of rain a year. That is not much considering that the temperature is over one-hundred ten degrees daily. The hot season is June through August, like America’s summer months. The northern region does get cold and receives around ten inches of snowfall a season. We grow many of the same plants and vegetables that are grown in America. Other countries export our goods and share in our agricultural achievements. The location of Saudi Arabia is in the southern part of western Asia. The country is the intersection of Europe, Asia, and Africa. The Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf is located beside Saudi. Many religious cities are located around Saudi Arabia. The land has no streams of water running through it. A few man-made lakes had been built there. The southern region is mainly deserts and gravel plains, not a lot of grass there. In 2004, the census reported that there are 22.7 million Saudi’s living in my country.
