America Persuasive Speech
"Thank you so much. It’s so great to be here in Iowa today. As the former Governor of Alaska, I graciously lend my support as a formal endorsement for the great Donald J. Trump!
America, since its conception, has always been a great superpower around the world. We remain respected, revered, and even feared by countries around the world. However, now, I regretfully say that that is not the case anymore. For the past 8 years, America wallowed under the command of a weak-kneed, cowardly leadership. In these 8 years, America has been insulted, mocked, and for the first time, looked down upon.
As Americans, it is in our blood to strive for freedom, liberty and when others step on our freedom and humiliate our veterans, there must be consequences.
Citizens of Iowa, people of America, we are ready for a new commander-in-chief, one that possesses both the experience in negotiating and the courage to not let anyone humiliate this magnificent country. Donald Trump alone possesses this expertise, he alone holds the bravery to lead this country into a new era, a great era, an era where America stands as number one. So, are you, Iowa, ready to make America great again! Trump’s candidacy has not only exposed the tragic betrayal of the progress of this country, but also the complacency this corruption receives from both sides of the aisle. Politicians, elected by the people, are selling their own country out by assisting the campaign donor class. Instead of passing laws that benefit the people, these politicians are passing laws that benefit special interest groups that already pay huge amounts in “campaign donations”. Trump remains the only politician who looks to help the citizens of America rather than himself.
Now, Donald Trump has been on the receiving end of an endless barrage of criticism from both parties. Democrats and Republicans alike constantly condemn his actions, saying it lacks appropriateness or sensitivity. However, what most people misunderstand, is that these particular traits make Donald Trump an even better candidate when compared to the other runners. This idea of “political correctness” constantly inhibits the ability of a politician due to them focusing on not offending anybody rather than actually fixing the problem. Donald Trump takes a stand against the status quo of always walking on these metaphorical eggshells. Trump may seem insensitive at times, maybe even rude, but he always speaks the truth. Trump always focuses on fixing the root problem which is something most other candidates cannot say. Not only this, but Trump remains a family-man at heart despite his record of success. He is not an elitist, he understands the life of the working man. Trump’s generosity and compassion is directly pointed aimed towards the good-intentions of America. He answers to nobody except we, the people. So, are you ready to make America great again with a leader who prioritizes the people.

For the first time, we see a candidate who is perfectly poised to help and lead America to economic prosperity. For the first time, we see a candidate who will not allow the notion of “political correctness” to hinder his ability to lead this country to prosperity.
