American Auto Industry Analysis
The automobile industry runs in many countries and is a very competitive industry. In America it is a very lucrative and competitive business that is a part of many lives regardless of ethnicity and culture. Whether black, white, orange or green everyone these days wants a car instead of a public transportation ride such as a bus or a taxi ride. The competition that these companies revolve around is usually based on the credit checks that they run on people. Many people cannot afford to pay off a car as soon as they step in to a dealership and decide to purchase a car. Instead many people decide to place a loan or lease a car for a certain amount of years that will allow them to have a monthly bill with interest. The interest and monthly amount …show more content…
Without the credit and loans that people use the American auto industry would not exist and in turn the American auto industry would not even be a global contender in the market. The global market is a very tricky and increasing market that will continue to increase with the demand of cars that are needed. Instead of actually producing the same cars over and over again there will always be someone who will demand a newer and improved car that cannot be the same model or the same look or the same speed as the previous car. With this demand comes the increase of improved technology that will never stop because in some one's mind there will always be room for improvement. It is a perception concept that will make this demand always a valuable asset to the American auto industry. Without the imagination of what a car could be there would be no auto industry anywhere. There would only be the original models that are basic systems that cannot succeed each other. Without the want for a faster car people would be stuck at the same speed, or there would be only one kind of engine and transmission. Many controls and uncontrollable variables prevent us from operating as our counterparts do in their home countries. The political views in our country of America has actually made cars more efficient and less pollutant in some ways yet has rendered the cars useless in some consumer's eyes. For cars in Germany and other countries outside of the United States the government has less strict rules when it comes to cars on the road because they are worried about safety and about what the consumer feels comfortable driving. The United States advertises safety and what the consumer wants yet in most cases you can see the advertisements on tv that actually just show the freshest car or the fastest car or whats fashionable to the stake holders and what they think will sell. This in turn will not increase revenue because when American car companies do this they are actually showing and advertising the most expensive cars that are not appealing to people in a realistic "I want to buy that car”, yet it is more of a I wish I could afford that
