Lastly, Success is the main goal to live out the American dream from the 1920s to present day. Failure is not option in this day and age and neither was it from the people who made it from poverty to success like Louis Armstrong. He went from a poor paper boy with a passion for music from New Orleans to one of the greatest jazz musicians. In this day and age it’s when it comes with living with the dream of success you just want the fame and attention and knowing that everyone will remember who you are.
In closing no one has really found the actual reason of what an American dream in vs. then and now we still have different ideas of what it all can consist of. Success, social status, and fortune all comes with the luxury life of what some of us call our American dream. The dream then was focused more on who was it now today people try to find what is it. To dream a fantasy and live the reality is something that sticks in all our minds to push harder to make that American dream ours and keep hold of it.
