An American crocodile will have between 60 and 72 teeth in it's jaw. This species can regrow its teeth. Throughout its lifespan, it can possibly grow over 3,000 teeth. The teeth in it's jaw will stick out when its mouth is closed because the upper and lower jaw are the same in width. The American crocodile has webbed toes and it can swim as fast as 20 mph.
