American Identity

Being an American is a very special thing. There are many freedoms and loyalties that use our American identity. I believe being an American is having freedom in anything you do, and rights to do anything within the laws it’s special to be an American.
In the story “The Writing on the Wall” by Camille Dungy, many immigrants from different countries have all chose a new life in America, they came across on a boat for a better way of life.
