Not every conflict has a winner. When it comes to conflict there has to be a resolution.

It does not matter whether a conflict has a winner or loser.

In "Two Kinds", Amy, the main character, had a conflict with her mother. Her mother wanted her

to succeed in many things, but Amy didn't want to. In the end, Amy's mom died and Amy found

out that she actually liked the music that her mother made her play. There was no winner in this

situation as Amy was not happy and her mother ended up dying. This conflict was resolved with

no winner or loser.

"Amigo Brothers" is short story that focuses on a conflict between two characters.

Antonio and Felix were two good friends who both loved boxing. They eventually got

matched up against each other.
