They thought of producing an affordable, alternative and healthy drink out of it. Also, their mother Cresing would always insist on making rice coffee, as this beverage would always make her day complete. So, the idea of venturing into this processing business came up.
Maitum, in Sarangani Province is the biggest rice-producing municipality, that’s why raw materials abound the highlands of Maitum. Cresing’s Food Products started in March, 2006 with rice coffee as their main product, but later on, through continuous research on value adding and other processing techniques, corn coffee was included in their product. Made with choicest organically grown rice and corn, it is already registered with the Department of Trade and Industry, with DOST Nutritional Facts, as well as an on-going BFAD accreditation and Barcode acquisition.
