Amy Lee, the lead singer of former rock band Evanescence, is releasing a new album next month. The new album titled ‘Dream Too Much’ will be a 12 song children’s album inspired by her two-year-old son, Jack. Amy’s album started as a gift to her father, to spend time with him in the studio. He encouraged her to make some kid friendly songs for her son to enjoy and soon became a family affair, including her father, sisters, uncle, husband, and son. Most of the songs featured will be covers of famous children’s songs, like Sesame Street’s “Rubber Duckie”, but a few of Amy’s’ originals will also be on the album. In the second separation of this experiment, the Erlenmeyer flask with the first filtrate was put into a beaker so the filtrate was in the beaker. The beaker was then heated on a hotplate until near boiling. After the whey protein had precipitated, a vacuum filter was used to filter out the whey. These proteins were then air-dried. Five drops of 10% NaOH and 2 drops of 0.5% CuSO4 were added to this tube. If a purple color showed, it would indicate there was protein in the test tube.…

The three-part work, set to popular and gospel music by Alice Coltrane, Laura Nyro and Chuck Griffin, depicts a woman 's journey through the agonies of slavery to an ecstatic state of grace. Knowing Ms. Jamison 's strengths, Ailey had made it for her and as a birthday present for his mother. He phoned Ms. Jamison the morning after the first performance. ' ' 'You 're in headlines in The Times, ' Alvin told me, ' ' she says. 'Clive Barnes calls you a triumph. ' ' ' Awakened from a deep sleep, she responded, ' 'O.K., thanks, I 'm a little tired. ' ' She didn 't know it then, but overnight she had become a star. In time, ' 'Cry ' ' became her signature piece.…

In conclusion, Andy feels a close connection to music, almost as if it were in a spiritual level. He and Anita both hear and feel music in a different way than others. People might use music to dance, or enjoy it, on the other hand Andy and Anita both connect the music and relate to every single word of the…

It is very difficult to pick one favorite among the hundreds of aspirants that ever participated on The Voice. There were engaging reggae artists, powerful divas, smooth balladeers, country artists, and mostly pop hopefuls. However, The Voice was also able to produce some indie pop artists who excel not just vocally, but also in the ability to recreate an already popular sound. The outcome is an accomplishment in terms of own materials, when these artists graduate on the show. Madilyn Paige, for example, is a strong example of an artist from The Voice who is able to create a gem through her song, “Irreplaceable.”…

Amy Tan's "Two Kinds" is an autobiographical look into her childhood that shows the conflict between Tan and her mother, the difference between old and new cultures, the past and the present, and parents' expectations vs. reality. Couples of opposing elements comprise the basis of the entire story; to another extent even the title itself, "Two Kinds," shows the friction that Tan creates. The strongest argument that Tan suggest is that this may not only be a look into her own life, rather it may be the struggles that every child and parent goes through as they come into age. As the story advances, Tan's journey of struggle through the relationship with her overbearing mother is unraveled. A sense of emotional growth and mutual respect can be noted between Tan and her mother as the story moves on. A strong examination of "Two Kinds" defends this theory.…
