June was thrilled about the fact she has half-sisters, but she was not happy with the idea that her twin sisters ignore their mother’s death. Also, June was afraid that her twin sisters would blame her for the death of their mother. I think June is right because when her sisters found out the truth, they will certainly have a hard time forging her for hiding such news from them. Also, I think June’s sisters deserve to know the truth; it more cruel to make them have hope about meeting their mother one day. Finally, June has made her mother proud because she has find her identity. While June meets her relatives in China, she found a connection to who she really was. Now, June knows she was Chinese because living in China made her realized how much she was missing on her culture and how adopting a culture is not necessarily your truthful identity unless your family is part of that culture. Moreover, June’s story made me realized how hard my parents are working to keep educating my sisters and I by following our culture. In summary, the short story of June was not only an interesting story for me to read, it was also a reflection of my own life.
