Within this article, I found that June Eric Udorie’s viewpoint was that social media consumes the minds of teenagers. With the images that teenagers are exposed to, it exhibitions a figure that teens feel like they must live up to those certain standards. Udorie’s main contention is that social media should be avoided as much as possible during specific times, due to the increasing risk rate of anxiety and depression frequently occurring in female teenagers. Udorie’s solution to this major problem is to demonstrate how people must make personal, social and health education constitutional in schools. A range of issues such as, healthy eating and sleeping consent would essentially need to be covered within the education unit; Due to the main issue being teens being placed under pressure, introducing personal, social and health education would change the opinions of a large portion of teens thoughts to the way they view themselves and others. I believe a large portion of teenagers would allow this type of information to sink in, but only for a temporary period.
