ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The dissertation period gave me an opportunity to explore the field which has always intrigued me and where my interest was- that of facility planning.
I am indebted to Dr. Vivek Desai – Director HOSMAC (India) Pvt. Ltd. for giving me an opportunity to work in his organization as there are but a handful of such organizations where I could have pursued such a study.
