Introduction
Aftermath of World War II triggered new enlightenment in international sphere. Countries took pride in collaborating with developing nations; not conquering them – which was the measure of strength not so long back. As President Kennedy said, “[United States of America] will bear any burden… to assure the survival and success of liberty.” Such paradigm shift brought a significant improvement in the social welfare: developing economies thrived, poverty rate decreased, and liberty flourished. Yet, there are countries that could not climb up the socio-economic ladder despite the helping hand from international community – or the situation is direr than before.
