“She knew she was fortunate, and didn't always thank her parents for everything they did”(Mitchell 36). When she got to the hotel she described it as crumbling Holiday Inn. I wonder why she does not think about how grateful she is to have a free vacation to another country. She took one glance at the hotel and had a very distinct THIS-IS-NOT-LUXURY feel for it. I think she is going to be very remiss on this vacation. When Sophia is at work at a local bar she is having a conversation with her co-worker about moving to Los Angeles. I question her choice of moving there because she has not found a big acting job yet. I also wonder if she knows if her friends will move with her or if she thinks she is going to be by herself. When Demi wakes up the next morning not remembering what happened, I wonder if she knows where she is. I also wonder why she does not remember. Was she drugged or did she fall and hit her head? I think she needs to repose. I hope all those questions will be answered soon.
Someones life can look perfect like Leandra’s but really she has to worry about her friend back home in Canada and vise versa. This book is very interesting as the storyline continues to grow. I have several questions and predictions that I hope are right. I think Leandra, Sophia, and Demi have a lot more coming their way
