Abstract- This paper describes an initial experiment in developing a deutsch thesaurus application using HTML5 connected to the online storage in Tizen Operating System (OS) following the Unified Process as development process. Tizen, the project resided within Linux Foundation and governed by a Technical Steering group, is predicted to be potentially as a new progressive mobile operating system for multiple device categories in 2014. Deutsch thesaurus is chosen to be developed because there are many people who learn german language nowadays, and Auto-Suggest is implemented for the efficiency of word searching so user can use it easily. The result indicates that building deutsch thesaurus application using Auto-Suggest System within HTML5 technology works fine in Tizen OS using online storage.
I. INTRODUCTION
HTML5 technology has grown rapidly becoming one of the preferred development environment for web and mobile applications and services. In indonesia, several developers have not realized that they can develop HTML5 directly, because almost of the browsers have already been supported by the technology. HTML5 is predicted as future technology due to its robust capabilities and cross platform flexibility. Based on html5test [1], mobile operating system that holds the highest score to support html5 is Tizen 2.2 as an upcoming mobile OS which is still in the development or beta.
