This was the year when the first iPhone came out. The iPhone has changed how people live and interact in the world. The phone has impacted society in both negative and positive ways. For many people, this invention has made a difference.
First, many people believe that the iPhone has made their lives easier. How? The iPhone has many different features that you can use. For example: Safari; if you don’t remember the phone number of the restaurant you just looked up on Google, you don’t even need to copy and paste it. The phone number is underlined on the page, just tap it and Safari will show a pop up with the number asking if you want to cancel, or call.
Second, for adults, the phone could come in handy with work, maybe you need to send out some emails or, in case you’re late, you could always text or call your boss. Are you late on a presentation? The iPhone has plenty of apps that could help you with that. With the iPhone you are always prepared for the worst.
Lastly, are the songs you want to expensive for you on iTunes? In the app store, there are various apps that will let you download an app to where you can get your own free music. It is completely legal and also very helpful when you are on a low budget.
The phone grows and grows and gets more popular throughout the years. Since 2007, they have created; the iPhone 3, the iPhone 4 and 4s, the iPhone 5 and 5s, and recently they have created the iPhone 6 and 6+. The sizes of the phones are getting bigger and slimmer.
Even though there are a lot of positive things about the iPhone, there are many negative things about it also. The phone has made it easier to communicate with others, but it’s not always a good thing. The phone, along with other smart phones, has helped people (mainly teenagers) send

He was their leader and motivator, but little did his first owner know that is just exactly what Seabiscuit needed. After disappointment and mistreatment, Seabiscuit still wanted to follow his instinct and race. My Iphone4 was updated to iOS6 and is the technology I use daily, hourly, 24/7. The benefits my Iphone provides me are pretty much anything you can think of. I use my phone to stay in contact with friends and family. I make and receive important phone calls. I check my email, I write my notes, I listen to music, browse the internet, play games, mark my calender, chat on social networkin sites, manage bills, and keeo track of my calorie intake daily with my Iphone. The benefits are all of the uses I get out of one device right at my finger tips. There are many risks involved with having my entire life on one device. One risk is the fact that my iphone could be stolen and I would lose everything I have in my phone or a starnger would have access to my personal information and basically, my entire life. I could have identity theft happen. Another risk is my phone breaking and me losing all of my personal inoramation or not having access to them. there are a couple ways of minimizing the risks. I can continuously back up the data in my iphone on itunes on my laptop, so I can always have acees to the information on my phone. I can also set up security locks throughout my phone on important information that I do not want to risk getting hacked or having another person have access to it. If I chose not to use my phone because of the risks associated with it, my life would be alot more boring and inconvienent. Everything besides making phone calls or recieving phone calls can be used outside of having my phone, however that would just be so much more complicated. I woulld have to continuously log on to computers or ask others to borrow thier phones. I would also be bored because I am not home alot, an if I wanted to hop online to chat with friends or listen to music while I workout at the gym, I would not be able to do that. Plus I would not be able to carry my laptop around all over, so I would not have unlimited access to everything I need and want when I need and want…

A good cell phone maintains great service and is very reliable. Service is a must because the primary reason for having a cell phone is being able to keep in contact with others at all times. The iPhone has great service due to its capability of having 3G, 4G, and LTE service all at once. Other phones are usually not nearly as advanced and can only have service speeds of up to 4G. IPhones are known for their dependability because Apple is easily one of the smartest and most valued companies to feature cell phones. Another great reason the iPhone is reliable is because of how the phone has grown in the past several years. The iPhone is now on its 5th generational model, excluding the amped up versions such as the S or C, and doesn’t have any of the problems the previous may have.…

    Is Change a Good Thing?

    • 729 Words
    • 3 Pages

Firstly, when one talks about change, one thing comes into mind: Technology. And with technology, come the word: Apple. With Apple, one conjures up the image of an iPhone. No longer the simple red apple that we eat but one that we use all day long. Well, when the legendary late Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone in January 9, 2007, at the Macworld 2007 convention at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco, the world went in uproar, some dubbing it the ‘Jesus Phone’. That was how well the iPhone was received. The release of the iPhone would change the world and market of phones forever. The iPhone remains the most popular phone in the market now, with each release of its phone(s) setting a benchmark for other phone companies to outdo it. This creates a huge market for bigger, better, more innovative, accessible smartphones. Without the iPhone, I doubt that any other companies would have started the “Smartphone Craze” and many of us if not all of us would still be living in the pre-iPhone era a.k.a The Era of Nokia-and-the-normal-phone. The iPhone gave us the power to do everything, from social networking to gaming, all on the small sized but big powered device called the iPhone. It gave us much…

The most important invention of ALL time has to be the invention of Apple Incorporated. It is a multinational corporation that creates consumer electronics, computer software, and a commercial server. Apple’s most popular inventions are the iPhone, iPod music player, and Macintosh computer line-up. (WHO)The inventers of Apple Inc. are Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.(WHERE) Apple Inc. was incorporated in January 3, 1977, in Cupertino, California. (WHEN)The inspiration came from when Mr. Wozniak attended a Homebrew Computer Club in 1975, he saw different types of computers; he decided to create a microprocessor which would complete a computer. (PURPOSE/WHY)There were only two complete computers, but both computers were too expensive so he began to observe and plan to make his own. MOS Technology released a chip in 1976; Mr. Wozniak began to design a computer for it to run on. He completed the machine and returned to Homebrew Computer Club meetings to show off, where he ran into Steve Jobs who was fascinated in the commercial potential of the small hobby machine. They got an offer to sell fifty fully assembled computers for five hundred dollars each on delivery day; so Mr. Jobs went out and ordered the components needed to assemble the Apple I Computer. It took hard work and dedication to complete this task, the two Steve’s and a small screw worked day and night testing and then delivered the orders and paid off their suppliers. Slowly but surely, they began to upgrade to make the computer faster than their competitors. Decades later, in October 2001, the invention of the iPod came about. The iPod was created for the people who like to listen to music on the go. We once had cd players, but they were too big to do active things; such as running. You can store your favorite music, videos, and even movies on the little device. Just plug in your headphones and enjoy. The iPhone is also like an iPod, the difference is, it’s a phone. So you have movies, music, videos, games,…
