At the age of four, Melissa Hershey suffered a seizure, which affected her ability to walk at a young age, but appears to have little physical effect on her now. She appears as a physically active child, which great interest in soccer. She does, however, experience involuntary movements in her left hand, which suggests that her nervous system is responding to false stimuli post-seizure.
