1) A leader with Godly character is one who is slow to anger “He who is slow to anger is better and more honorable than the mighty [soldier],and he who rules and controls his own spirit, than he who captures a city.” Proverbs 16:32 Amp “Good sense and discretion make a man slow to anger,
And it is his honor and glory to overlook a transgression or an offense [without seeking revenge and harboring resentment].” Proverbs 19:11 Amp
Focus: In order for the Godly leader to be led by the Holy Spirit in making Godly decisions, shifting extremely negative atmospheres and situations one must not be overcome or controlled by anger.

One must understand that a spirit of anger will block your spiritual ears from hearing the voice of God clearly and precisely in every area of your life.
Assignment: Write down a couple of areas or situation in which you know previously would really get you angry.
Apply those areas to the 2 scriptures listed above. 2) A leader with Godly character is one who operates in COMPLETE OBEDIENCE
“ But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth].” James 1;22 Amp
“You shall walk [that is, live each and every day] in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long in the land which you will possess.” Deuteronomy 5:33 Amp
“Jesus answered, “If anyone [really] loves Me, he will keep My word (teaching); and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling place with him.” John 14:23
