2. Explain the difference between primary and secondary information. Primary Information
Secondary Information
A primary Information is a document or physical object which was written or created during the time under study. These sources were present during an experience or time period and offer an inside view of a particular event
Secondary Information interprets and analyses primary sources. These sources are one or more steps removed from the event.

Example : ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS (excerpts or translations acceptable): Diaries, speeches, manuscripts, letters, interviews, news film footage, autobiographies, official records

Example: Text book, General article , Academic article, histories, criticisms, commentaries, encyclopaedia.

3. Qualitative refers to descriptions having to do with quality or worth.
Qualitative means involving distinctions based on qualities; qualitative change; qualitative data; qualitative analysis determines the chemical constituents of a substance or mixture or relating to or involving comparisons based on qualities.

4. Quantitative refers to descriptions having to do with numbers and statistics.
Quantitative methods are those which focus on numbers and frequencies rather than on meaning and experience
