How does a women decide whether a man is into her or not? Most times it could be the way he approaches her. This article shows that the total institution will have an effect on your mindset because in order to be a member of that group, you have to learn a new value system. In class we discussed that there are racial differences not because so much that these guys are black but because these guys are black in a society where the dominant group is white and within consciousness being in an upper class institution; there’s a certain way that they talk. Sounds to me like they like to take advantage of women and do as they please regardless of the consequence. “Women normally engage in relationships to be associated with a particular fraternity and to have access to fraternity functions and or alcohol. By engaging in a relationship with a guy in a fraternity, women also have to uphold a certain look/act to fit in since they now have a connection with the guy. I believe women do this to be popular as well or to gain attention being that they are also able to go to fraternity functions and receive free alcohol. But what the women don’t think of is the consequences after all the partying or shame they have to go through while being with a fraternity guy if he himself does something bad. The fraternity house also facilitates a convenient means of engaging sexual behavior.
