Organization was a big part of my speech in order to make it effective and in order to be able to persuade the audience to want to go out and make a difference in the world regarding starvation. In my organization of this speech, coming up with questions for the introduction seemed to me to be vital. By asking questions, I was able to get the audience to become at least somewhat interactive into what I was about to talk about. When doing the next parts of my speech, going with the cause and effect method was a must. I feel as though I did a well job at this, as I was able to clearly state in my speech what was actually causing the hunger, what effect it had on the world, and what we can actually do to fix it. Talking in front of an audience is something that I personally do not like to do; the fear of messing up or stumbling over my words causes me to become even more anxious to do these speeches. Although this is true, I know that there are some things that I can do to ease these anxieties, which would cause for making an even greater speech. Practicing my speech multiple times by myself and in front of my friends is something that I can do to ease my nervousness.
