Analysis Of Abigail Adams Letter To John Quincy Adams
In 1780 Abigail Adams wrote her son John Quincy Adams while he was traveling overseas with his father. Within the letter, Abigail uses Pathos, Allusion,Metaphor and Imagery when she told John to travel with an open mind ,seek challenges,develop character and take all the opportunities that he comes across. Due to John’s father being a US Diplomat,Abigail thought this trip would be a great way for John to become a better man and overall a better individual.
