By this I mean, bipolar disorder have an influence on the society and sometimes society can have an influence on bipolar. For example, just like the story, Ms. Jamison had canceled numerous of social events because of her manic-depressive illness. Her illness made her not want to get involved in any social engagements. Jamison was in the manic high she was always doing things positive and very social with her interns, colleagues, family, friends, and partners. She enjoyed social engagements and she felt as if she was in a good place. Just like most people who experience bipolar disorder, when they are energized they are more involved with interactions with people and it increases their desire to want to do more. Being in a good state mentally, emotionally, and physically had a great impact on the society. When Ms. Jamison was in the depression stage, she was isolated from the world. She would insist on being by herself regardless how hard people tried to comfort
