Curley’s wife is a villain because she shows some villainess signs that she had never shown before like say to Lennie that she was happy about it happening to him and let Lennie touch and feel her hair until her untimely death when Lennie grab her frightenly and twisted her neck so she would stop screaming. Here are some evidence that she is a villain

She walks into the barn and saw Lennie with Crooks talking to each other and they don’t want trouble with her until she began talking with Lennie
She keeps on wondering around and meets Carlson, George, Lennie and Candy after she ask them if they Curley anywhere and began flittering with them
She began talking to Lennie on how she had been lonely all her life with
