The menu is inviting as it pops with color and shows pictures of many of its offerings, making it easy for people who like to have a visual when choosing something to eat. I have tried many things on the menu and two of my most favorite are the steak fajitas and the charbroiled chicken burrito. The fajitas come to the table sizzling on a skillet with a side of refried beans and rice. The vegetables included with the fajitas are grilled zucchini, grilled red peppers, grilled yellow peppers, grilled mushrooms, and grilled onions. These vegetables with steak and tortillas make for a mouthwatering burst of flavors that are perfect. The charbroiled chicken burrito is a fulfilling tortilla that is stuffed with lots of cheese and tender chicken that makes every bite better than the…

To begin, the contents of enchiladas differs in the U.S. and in Mexico. In restaurants, and even most American homes, enchiladas are made with beef or chicken wrapped in store bought flour tortillas. Meanwhile, in Mexico they are made with a corn tortilla and most often filled with cheese. The preparation also differs between the two nations. In America, for example, they are topped with a red or green sauce, maybe even a package mix and then baked in the oven. Finally, just before eating they are topped with lettuce sour cream and salsa. Whereas in Mexico the sauce is made entirely from scratch with dried chilies that have been boiled, and then ground with garlic and other ingredients. Sometimes they even use mole sauce which can be a meal of its own. The tortilla is dipped in the sauce then fried. Once the tortilla is fried place cheese in the center and roll it up while still warm; now add the toppings and enjoy a delicious authentic Mexican…

Throughout the world, there are thousands of foods to choose from. Everyone has a certain dish and a certain way to prepare it and enjoy. Growing up I had the opportunity to pick one type of food in which we wanted to have at dinner. I would choose the side for dinner on Sunday’s; I would always choose Baked Macaroni and Cheese. There are several ways to prepare my dish, but I enjoy it one special way. First you would start out preheating your oven to three-hundred and fifty degrees. Secondly, boil a pot of water then add twelve ounces of elbow macaroni and cook until the noodles are soft. While the macaroni is cooking, you add twenty-four ounces of sour cream, one pound of shredded Cheddar cheese, and one egg to a bowl and mix together. After you have cooked the delicious macaroni, you strain the water and add the macaroni to the bowl with the sour cream, cheese, and egg. After adding all of those ingredients, mix all of the ingredients together until all of the noodles are coated and everything is mixed together thoroughly. Let that sit a minute, get a thirteen by nine inch pan and coat it with Crisco spray. Add your macaroni mixture to it and flatten to even it out. If desired, add shredded cheese and sprinkle paprika on the top. Ensure your oven is preheated to three-hundred and fifty degrees and bake for thirty minutes. Once complete the cheese should be bubbling, and the edges should be brown. The Baked Macaroni is done to perfection, and your mouth will water just looking at. Macaroni and cheese together is a wonderful dish, but baking it just adds a whole other level to it. As everyone has their favorite foods, mine has always been prepared this special way. I picked this every time I had the chance, and will be using this special recipe with my own family. Hopefully it will be someone else’s favorite food, as it is…
