Louie Zamperini, the man who defied starvation, dehydration, and psychopathic capture He had lost all hope and had to rely on his traits of resilience and rebelliousness, in order to survive.
His first trait is his rebelliousness. Our story starts out with Louie as a small child stealing glasses filled with wine and drinking them, then going on to tell that he stole an entire cake balanced in his hands. He was worked out with paint cans filled with lead in order to beat the snot out of one of his bullies, threw rotten tomatoes at cops, stealing a few thing here and there. While he was in the Japanese POW camp, he and the other POWs made an academy of thievery and would steal supplies from the Japanese that held them prisoner. His second
