Analysis Of Donald Trump's Play The Victimization Game
In reality, Donald Trump's main goal is to play the victimisation game. He is portraying immigration as the main problem the country has. He is blaming all the people's ills (Lack of jobs, terrorism, inflation, etc) on the enemy, which in this case are immigrants. The government is the one to blame for all this issues, not fellow americans. This only divides us and weakens us as country. Voters, you have the power to not let this happen. We need to keep this country united.

First off, WE'RE SCREWED. It was the last presidential election of our time. The candidates were terrible. It was either World War III(Hillary) or The Purge(Trump) and I guess America chose The Purge. So, I guess it's time to say goodbye to all people of mixed or other ethnicities, because Trump's gonna make us all go back. Time to say goodbye to those we befriended and growled to love. Goodbye to all the things that actually make this country GREAT. He says, "Let's Make America Great Again," but does he really mean it. America was created as a place where people all over the world can come and make something of themselves. Now it's a place where we look down on those who are different or those of us will different talents. We judge people…

“is a nation of immigrants, but also a nation of laws, and these concepts are not mutually exclusive.” To suggest that the U.S. currently lacks laws regarding immigration and that President Trump’s failed immigration order would fill this void is highly irrational and ignores concrete immigration policy. Stewart further suggests that “we should never underestimate the unimaginable devastation that can result from a small number of [immigrants] driven by hatred.” “National security and public safety,” he writes, are “the preeminent functions of government.”…

This lying delusional unqualified individual is trying to destroy the hard- work of honorable men and women that has taken decades of blood sweat tears to accomplish. His action clearly shows that his agenda is not to make America strong again, because he wants to remove and replace or destroy the things that makes a nation honorable and strong. By trump’s own admission in his autobiography he paraphrases that he loved the words truth-stretching so much that he took them as his own. Out of his mouth comes the truth, he loves being a…

There is a clear paradox when it comes to Donald Trump. His bullying, awful comments, and antics are deflecting away from serious issues that could help, as his slogan states “Make America Great Again” but instead is making our political process more of a circus.…

I do not know if Donald Trump views it as you do. Trump represents a sizeable group in America that wants the worst for this nation. He constantly remarks about discriminatory and bigotry type practices. Today’s times and concerns are not the same as the 1700s, 1800s and 1900s, and as a result, one would think that race relationships would be much improved; unfortunately, it does not seem like that, and I do agree with you. This class has open my eyes pertaining how White American has treated non-white people, which consist of southern justice, reconstruction, Japanese being jailed during World War II, Native Americans being forced on reservations, and much more. There is a need for “equality” and fairness in this country. Those words…

On Tuesday, January 10, President Donald Trump delivered his first State of the Union address. A large portion of his speech was devoted to the controversial topic of immigration reform. A careful analysis of his remarks reveals that he does not want undocumented people living in America. Although he does squeeze in some ideas that will allow a limited amount of immigrants to receive citizenship most were ideas to them keep out or severely hurt their chances. Trump uses a series of rhetorical devices to label undocumented immigrants as bad beings such as logos and pathos, repetition and anaphora.…

Radical extremists have put fear into American society, causing many to resent immigrants and refugees. President Trump has worked with foreign governments to eliminate the threat of radical extremists, specifically in the Middle East. During a conference in Saudi Arabia, Trump said, “[W]e are here to offer partnership, based on shared interests and values, to pursue a better future for us all” (“Donald Trump and . . . ”). Since the beginning of his term, Trump has pushed for secure borders. On January 25, 2017, Trump signed an Executive Order, part of which stated, “Among those who illegally enter . . .…

“The Immigration Debate We Need” was written by George Borjas, a professor at Harvard, reporter, and economist of The New York Times. Borjas claimed that Trump’s immigration policy is more beneficial than what people make it to be. In the article, he said, “I am [the] living proof that immigration policy can benefit some people.” that supports the idea that the policy is not bad, but useful in society. In the article, he targeted people who are against the immigration policy because he wanted to spread the awareness that Trump’s policy is beneficial. While I was reading this article, I was starting to agree with his viewpoint because he said, “The climate suggests that many Americans view that number as too high”, that means the policy can…

Some of the candidates think that there is an issue with immigration today which can only be solved by putting an immediate stop to illegal immigration and drastically reducing the number of legal immigrants allowed in the country. However I believe this would only create more problems for the United States. Many people claim that immigrants are stealing the jobs of hardworking Americans, but I disagree. If we forcibly removed all of the illegal immigrants from our country, not only would that cause a sizable international dilemma, but we would lose a large portion of the blue collar labor force. The fact of the matter is that immigrants do jobs that Americans feel they are too good for. By removing immigrants, we would only create a gap in the labor force because Americans buy-in-large feel entitled to well paid white collar jobs. In my opinion, Trump can talk about removing the Muslims and building his wall, but that would only create more problems for the United States as a whole. Immigrants play a large role in the labor force of this country and have since the Gilded…

Instead, the history behind the topic shows why the anti-immigrant and anti-Latino rhetoric was triggered when someone, such as the President of the United States, began to make such remarks about immigration and about Latinos. The United States is a very wealthy country with many benefits and opportunities. Since day one, people have been fighting for this country and have been giving their lives to protect and serve the country and its people. The patriotism that American citizens have is very understandable. Some of these people might believe that Latino immigration might ruin what they have worked so hard to build. Just as President Trump once said “When Mexico sends its people ... they’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.” This is the mentality of many Americans today, and that is something that they do not want in their home country, which is understandable. On the other side, the reason people migrate is because they are leaving something that was atrocious. Many people who migrate to the United States are escaping their country's violence and poverty to give their children a better chance at life. If we can understand each other’s battles and concerns, we can work together to come up with a solution that benefits both…

Trump thinks these ridiculous things are what’s right for our country, but it goes against everything that our country stands for. He wants to keep people out who are contributing to our country’s growth, while Hillary on the other hand wanted to do the opposite. She wanted to introduce a plan that gives immigrants coming into the United states a a easy and quick pathway to citizenship. According to her website, she has states that, “As president, she will work to fix our broken immigration system and stay true to our fundamental American values: that we are a nation of immigrants, and we treat those who come to our country with dignity and respect—and that we embrace immigrants, not denigrate them.” (Clinton 3) She was so determined to do this, that she vowed to make it happen within her first 100 days in office. Clinton has stated many times whether it was on her website, in an interview, or on live tv that she does NOT want to tear families apart. What she wanted was to bring in millions of hardworking people to strengthen our…

Most people, when confronted with the after scene of an incident, will usually say that the perpetrator was like any other person and did not show any indicators. However, in most cases, there are several clues that lead to show that a person may become extremely violent. Furthermore, if people do see the changes, they usually will not report (i.e. do not want to seem racist).…

Donald Trump has been accused of housing discrimination. A leaked document has proven that those accusations are true. The Democratic Coalition Against Trump found that there were 9,050 apartments, but they housed only 399 minorities. This means that only 4.4 percent of the people who lived in the housing were minorities. The document proved that both Donald and Fred Trump tried to ignore the 1968 Fair Housing Act.…
