Dubai is one of the most flourishing cities in the world attracting people from all over the world with a strong economy. India being a part of the BRIC nations and with the ambition of being perceived as a developed nation need some changes economically and politically. Could the Dubai model work in India?
I. To analyse how Dubai’s model can be relevant to India we need to look at various different factors. Looking at the model of Strategy, Structure and Resource we could make some comparisons of how Dubai is similar to India.

Logistical Hub and this promoted with good port facility.

Focus on education, medical & engineering sectors good.
Primary sector of Agriculture not ignored.
Infrastructure development, cities and broadband development is another major focus.

Member of the BRIC countries.
Democratic government with secular laws.
Relevant
Infrastructure development at the ports as the south of India is also strategically located.
Strong ties between cities Eg: Bangalore & Hyderabad can be made
Low Relevance
One leader strategy may not be applicable
Policy of importing talent for domestic needs.

    The Circus Maximus was the biggest and most important stadium in Rome. It was 570 metres long and 140 metres wide. It was originally made of wood, laid out in the 6th century BC, but the emperors Titus and Trajan had the whole thing rebuilt out of concrete, brick and stone around the end of the first century AD. The emperors also increased the size of the Circus Maximus. It was able to seat 250,000 spectators. Both women and poor people were allowed to attend the chariot races and unlike the gladiatorial shows, sit wherever they wanted. A day out at the Coliseum was obviously a very sociable place to be. Ovid, a very famous Roman poet of the time advised men who were interested in meeting women to go to the Circus Maximus. In ‘The Art of Love’, he wrote of his experience with a woman at the racecourse, using himself as an example to other men. Within the monologue he mentions of how close the spectators would have to sat together, he flatters her and tells her how he is jealous of the chariot driver she favours.…

    Some disorders cause the thyroid to make more thyroid hormones than the body needs. This is called hyperthyroidism, or overactive thyroid. The most common cause of hyperthyroidism is Graves’ disease. Graves’ disease is an autoimmune disorder, in which the body 's own defense system, called the immune system, stimulates the thyroid. This causes it to make too much of the thyroid hormones. Hyperthyroidism can also be caused by thyroid nodules that prompt excess thyroid hormones to be made. A thyroid nodule is a swelling in one section of the thyroid gland. The nodule can be solid or filled with fluid or blood. You can have just one thyroid nodule or many. Most thyroid nodules do not cause symptoms. But some thyroid nodules make too much of the thyroid hormones, causing hyperthyroidism. Sometimes, nodules get to be big enough to cause problems with swallowing or breathing. In fewer than 10 percent of cases, thyroid nodules are cancerous. Thyroid nodules are quite common. By the time you reach the age of 50, you have a 50 percent chance of having a thyroid nodule larger than a half inch wide.…
