From the resources of 7 Habits it is stated in the book that teens have learned ways to be proactive by thinking before they act, and making nice/smart choices on the way they act with peers. Ways that teens can sharpen the saw is to ask themselves questions like why would I want to do this? They could think of their consequences, and the things that come from their actions it could lead them to badness down the road.
