Analysis Of Inspector Aedin's Journey To The Royal Palace
The unexpected guests
Sharp, swift footsteps resonated through the empty streets of Lumaen as Inspector Aedin made his way to the Royal Palace for his daily duty.
Because of the early hour, most of the inhabitants were still asleep. The sun produced a radiant, golden ocean, that slowly consumed everything in sight and threatened to blind everyone daring to look straight to its source. There were few sleepy figures, that moved at a slow pace, saying a faint greetings to each other when their paths crossed.
I can't believe I was one of those before joining the palace.
Only when they passed the strong, imposing individual, dressed in black coat, did they stop and bowed their head

When there was a way, the Royal Church tried to heal them or bring them back on the right path, otherwise they would just send somebody skilled enough, to eliminate the threat.
Aedin was one of the highly potent and powerful casters, which was why he belonged to Inspectors, a group of dreaded and deadly highly ranked servants of Royal Palace, whose main job description was making sure nobody broke the law concerning Ether. Although his magical skills made him a dangerous enemy, it was not his only quality. His combat prowess was considered being on the same level as his supernatural abilities.
It isn't what it used to be.
Aedins journey to the Royal Palace was almost at the end. He nodded his head as a greetings to the young gate-keeper who watched him with an amazed glitter in his eyes, briskly swinging his hand to forehead to make a salute.
A good lad. He would make a fine soldier.
Aedin made his way up the stairs, looking at the paintings hanged on the walls, depicting the current Holy King and his feeble, skinny body. It never ceased to disgust him that there were so many of these.
How much money did that garbage

Hellbeasts are the same color as Ether, with a weak luminous presence to them.
The tiger like creatures are almost as high as an adult human and have huge fangs, that can tear their prey apart in seconds. They are much more agile and fast than people expect, which usually leads to the beasts anniversary being torn to pieces.
But the most dangerous of the menaces, coming from the other universe are the giant Magnas with their imposing height, the biggest ones being several meters tall and having immense power inside the large, thick muscles.
The academy teaches every cadet how to defeat the beasts. But when encountering a Magna, the training is to run away as far as possible. Aedin only met the Ether mountain twice and the one time he fought it, the colossus managed to kill seven men before finally going down.
Completely lost in his memories, Aedin realized there was an envelope lying on his desk. He put on old reading glasses and with the help of his letter opener, revealed what the inside

Einhard was a courtier in Charlemagne 's Frankish Kingdom. During Charlemagne 's rule/life (768-824), he dedicated a vast amount of time and energy into supporting the notions of classical learning. This is where Einhard and Charlemagne first encountered each other. Einhard was a small but intelligent man who came to prominence in the PiousCharlemagne 's and Charlemagne 's son 's kingdom. It is often asked how such a small man came to be the heart of the kingdom, and how the court school and the opportunities it provided influenced his success. Comparing the The Analects (confucious) with the Prince (Machiavelli) is something like comparing George bush and Elizabeth May of the green party. Basically the wrtitings of The Analects totally disagrees with the writings of The Prince. Confucius believes people are easily improved and taught through self promotion and development, Machaveli however sees humanity in a much different light. Machiavelli was an innovator of realism politics and believed that people of power should conduct themselves as tyrants. Machiavelli and Confucius are from totally different time periods and different places in the world. Which could possibly be the reason The Analects and The Prince are so very different(yet both lived in times of war).…
