In these times black people they did not have the same rights as white people. They really just want to be the same as what
white people have. “I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood.”(pg 104) Martin Luther King talks about how he just wants to have the same rights as white people not like slave and owner but brothers in a equality world. He just wants to be equal to the white people and he want to make sure people know what is going on. If he could see the changes that he has made today maybe he would be proud.
In today’s world both of the authors Mr. King and Mr. X had a huge in life. If we didn’t have Martin L. King Jr. speech “I Have a Dream” where would we be today? In “The Ballot or the Bullet” it talks about how black people want to vote or they are going to do something about it. In this insist a bullet which means war to me if there wasn’t a person to stand up and announce how the center race feels about it would anyone know? Luckily, there was two people that had tremendous ways to voice the equality opinions. I’m a white female we are still having problems with equality about women getting paid less than men but we just need a strong spokesperson like M.L.K Jr and Malcolm X.
