Analysis Of Loose Lips Might Sink Ships
The Statement “Loose Lips Might Sink Ships” was first originated on Propaganda posters during World War Two. This slogan which uses Fear and Logical Fallacies was used to reveal what would happen if secret information was to be revealed. The allies fighting in the army would be killed and the enemies would know of confidential plans. If someone was to talk about something super secret during the war that could be passed around to the opposing army then they could use that information to defeat the Allies. This could have caused the enemies to win the World World Two. The overall purpose of the slogan’s meaning was to keep servicemen and other citizens from loosely talking about secure information, mostly pertaining to the movement of the ships.

On the afternoon of May 7, 1915, the British ocean liner is torpedoed without warning by a German submarine off the south coast of Ireland.
