“Twice As Far” will deal with the aftermath of the Savior slaughter Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his group inflicted, an incident that showed a new (but not necessarily improved) Carol (Melissa McBride) trying to prevent the death of more survivors. However, the action will be happening outside of Alexandria once again.
The synopsis of the episode reads as follows:
“Two separate groups leave Alexandria for supplies, and while both worry over the future of the community, they will face immediate danger.”
More “danger” for the survivors! It must be Tuesday. However, the information gets a little scarier when paired up with the promo for “Twice As Far,” which reveals that it is Abraham and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) who are together for a supply run. And anyone who has read the comic books would know this is a very, very bad sign.
In the 99th issue of The Walking Dead comic series, Abraham and Eugene are on a supply run when they get ambushed by a group of Saviors. The leader, Dwight, kills Abraham by shooting him in the head with a crossbow and they decide to take Eugene hostage.
So is this the end for Abraham? Hopefully, the supply run will involve other survivors who might be able to prevent the character’s death.
Cudlitz has previously spoken up about his character’s possible death, which isn’t exactly something he’s worried about.
“I feel like that’s not anything we can really be concerned about because if they’re gonna kill Hershel, they’re gonna kill anyone,” he told ComicBook.com.
“Twice As Far,” the 14th episode of The Walking Dead Season 6 will air on AMC on March 20.
