After a long few seconds, the pitcher began his windup and pitched the ball. Even though Pablo missed the first pitch, he doesn’t mess up twice in a row. The crowd was on the edge of their seat, just waiting for Pablo to make a statement.
“Crack!” Pablo crushed a long fly ball to deep right field. Pablo’s mind was racing following his hit.
“Am I out?” He asked himself. The roar of the crowd was as loud as steam engine blowing the middle of the night. It turns out that Pablo had achieved his goal.
“Home run!” the umpire exclaimed while giving the hand signal. Pablo was extremely excited and proud of his hit. Once touching home plate, Ricky along with his teammates greeted Pablo at home plate with a brief celebration. Pablo’s homerun evened the score a 2-2. The Marlins would eventually end up winning the game 3-2.
Following the game, Pablo went over to Ricky’s house. The two had been best friends since the fourth grade. Two years later, the two are closer than ever.

“Sounds like fun, I have always wanted to go and watch David Ortiz play some ball.”
“So lets make it happen. I will have my parents order the tickets.” The two were so excited to be able to go on a trip together. But until their mini vacation, the both of them had to focus on a game coming up. Especially against their rivals, the Lake Michigan Minnows.
Coming off of a great performance, the coach has allowed Pablo to start at right field. Pablo had another great game and managed to achieve two hits and the Marlins defeated the Minnows by a shutout score of 10-0. Pablo is proud, and excited. He was proud of the way he is able to come out and perform for his team. He was excited about the Boston trip. He was dropped off at Ricky’s house at approximately 3:00 am. Tired but excited, they all piled into the car and left for the airport. Upon their arrival at the airport, both Pablo and Ricky were both amused about the place.
Once on they were on the plane, Pablo and Ricky slept from the time they took off, until the moment they landed in Boston.
“What do you want to do? It is only eight o’clock.” Ricky asked
