Analysis Of 'Quarta'

Have you ever read “ Wonder” or “ The girl who was born with only 2 arms and 2 legs?’’ Well if not Auggie is from “Wonder” and Quarta is from 2 arms and 2 legs. Auggie was born with a face that no one really wants to see, so he might be considered ugly on the outside but definitely not on the inside. Along with Auggie, Quarta was born being deformed in her world, but every kid in her class was a 4 armed and 4 legged person. But, you may guess that Quarta was the one with 2 arms and 2 legs. So you may say that they are not very popular. The authors of these books are R. J. Palacio and Stuart Baum. To start off, both kids were very underestimated. The reason they are so underestimated is because most grown-ups underestimate them. Along with
One reason, Auggie is bullied is because every time he walks through the hallway or is in class there are always people talking and saying mean things behind his back. To add on Julian and his crew were saying that Auggie should have been darthsidios for halloween. And if he was going to be darthsidios that he wouldn’t even have to dress up. They were all so mean to him and when they were saying stuff like that, Auggie was so heart broken. A second reason, is a lot of people were always looking at him. And then again there was Julian that was asking about his face and was asking if he went through a fire or something. Unlike Julian, Jack Will got mad at Julian for asking Auggie this. In fact when they would hang out Jack Will never even asked about his face. Sure he wondered but, never did. This information proves that Julian is not a nice guy. Again, Quarta was also bullied by many of her fellow students. For example, When she saved Kako from the tidal pool none of the students, not even Kako were appreciative of her. All they did was call her a freak and point out how different she was. That was so mean of the other students, Kako could have drowned.But, none of it mattered.When the time comes, the time Quarta hates the most, picking teams! When Jenna who is not her friend does not pick her. I bet they would have never thought of how Quarta had felt. Quarta knows that she is bad at sports but if Jenna were to pick her maybe Quarta could have thought differently. All in all these reasons prove that both, Auggie and Quarta are underestimated because they are
