This article dose a great job in inferencing the motives and qualities that teen have in wanting to join ISIS. It goes on to explain that maybe one of the reasons that this movement is happening in relation to the desire to become someone in this world. Cohen explains that many young Muslims fell alienated and that ISIS “offers to give meaning, whether in this life or the next, to meaningless lives” (Cohen 4). By fighting for same cause these alienated teens can for that first time have something to fell passionate about. The Article also explains that this reasons might not be enough to get teens motivated to join ISIS, but he insists that there is “something deep” (Cohen 8) that need to be uncovered.

He suggests that the movement is due to the fact that teens feel alienated or maybe because freedom dose not offer the structural life style ISIS dose.
