Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Billboard of Bed, 1992 and Barbara Kruger, Surveillance is Your Busywork, 1985 are both piece of works that show how we are constantly being watched. In Barbara’s piece there is a man with a hunting scope to his eye, and in big letters crossed the picture is the word “surveillance is your busywork.” In this artwork it is very clear that you are being watched and with the line busywork, it makes it sound like your being watched in everything you do. In Felix piece there is a bed that has obviously been slept in and with both pillows messed up you can conclude that there were two people in that bed the night before.
