This impactful law that was created was The Regulation of Child Labor Law of 1833. This law was the most helpful for not only the children working in factories, but all the children working all over all day long. The Regulation of Child Labor Law was created to limit the hours children were allowed to work in Britain. Thus creating political as well as cultural conflict in communities.This law was created to also improve the conditions the children would have to endure whether it was in factories or agricultural labor. Sadly, this law would have to wait 6 months before it was legalized(Rider). The owners of factories didn’t want the children to stop working because that was their main source of their income. People today never would have had adults working in coal mines instead of children if the Mines Act didn’t happen(Tuttle). Modern people might still have children working in those small, cramped mines all day long. We could still have children getting gnarled fingers and losing appendages if we didn’t have the Factory Act created (Reed). Children could still be working long hours every day, leaving their education behind if it wasn’t for the Cotton Factories Regulation Act(Tuttle). This law made it so that children wouldn’t have to work all day in those factories, and without it, we might still be working all day in factories.
