Miller expressed many aesthetic choices throughout his performance. For example, he shows it through sound, his attire, his movements, and his setting. He was not afraid to tell his story even though he knows it is a very controversial topic. There were certain stories that he would tell and it seemed as if the audience was split with their emotions. For example, he explained this one story of his friend standing up for him. He went into vivid detail of what his friend said, and the body movements he performed. He made a jokingly side comment and that shocked some people in the audience. I personally just sat there in shock because I was not predicting for that to be said but I then laughed it off because he was creating a certain comedic mood. Some people had burst out into laughter and some people just sat there and stared with disgust. I assume Miller knew that he would come across situations like that yet it still does not stop him. He is very passionate for what he believes in and fights for and the audience could see that.
