Have you ever read a classic? If so, did you like it? I recently read Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. It was amazing! Where the Red Fern Grows is about an adult named Billy Colman. In the story, Billy narrates his childhood memories. Billy grew up in Oklahoma. He lived with his Papa, Mama, and three sisters. As a kid, all Billy wanted was two hounds. He dreams of going coon hunting with the two hounds, but his family can’t afford two hounds. That does not stop Billy though. Billy decides to work every odd job he can find, and after about two years, Billy saved up enough money to buy two hounds. Billy named the two hounds Little Ann and Old Dan. The two made a great duo, and made Billy a lot of money catching raccoons.
