1. Devise a personal development plan, identify their strengths and weaknesses in both skills and knowledge and identify appropriate resources.

Scenario
In March 2013, the unemployment rate in Malaysia increased from three percent (3%) to three point three three percent (3.33 %). The increasing percentage of unemployment rate giving significance that there is a high competition to get the job in Malaysia especially for the graduate from Malaysia. This scenario not only happens in Malaysia, but also to the worldwide. The statistics shows that number of unemployment rate in a worldwide is increasing to twelve point six percent (12.6%) compared to previous year which is twelve point four percent (12.4%). It is also very tough to retain his employment after entering into the company as many of the graduates leave the jobs or giving up with the jobs. To remain stay in high challenging of jobs market, everyone has to involve in various development activities of the company and get rid of obstacles and must exhibit skills to survive for a long time. You must update your technical, social and professional knowledge with people around you.
In order to become a professional Engineer, you are asked to conduct the SWOT analysis in which you will understand your Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. You also need to develop a Personal Development Plan (PDP) to enrich your strength in getting the employment. And finally, take up a mock interview to review and identify the areas of your concern.
