My project's message is an overall generic topic because it needs to apply to every story. Nevertheless, each fairy tale has its unique message that highlighting a particular problem relate to technology and children. For example, in Hansel and Gretel, I emphasize the message of children depending on their phones too much, and children nowadays having the need to post their life on social media. In the story, Hansel demonstrates the problem of children relying on technology by using his phone to take pictures of the way into the forest in hope to late use them as a guide to get back home. However, when his phone dies he then realizes how useless they are. Additionally, in the fairy tale, Gretel shows the problem of children having the constant urge to keep her followers updated by sharing her emotions and her personal life issues on Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. Meanwhile, in The Little Red Riding Hood, I convey how technology has made it easily accessible for children to socialize with meet strangers online. In the tale, Little Red Riding Hood tale chats with an apparent handsome boy online, but it turns out that in actuality the boy is a kidnapper nicknamed "Wolf". The intended message that I targeted in The Ugly Duckling was to highlight how the fast advancements in technology and the rapid birth of social media platforms have contributed to cyber bullying. In the story, the ugly brother is constantly belittled by his siblings and peers, the bullying only becomes worse when he joins social media networks. He believes that the virtual world would be an escape door; however, when his schoolmates find his social accounts he is even torrent there. This generation is currently growing in a time period were cyber bullying is a serious social issue, this trend is something their parents never experienced because the sophisticated technologies and social networks did not exist. According to Bullying Statistics, "Cyber Bullying affects many adolescents and teens on a daily basis". This fairy tale message helps address a moral lesson about bullying and serves as a form of prevention by educating children about the wrongs of cyber
