Louis Jordan and his Tympany Five’s “Caldonia” is a signature track of the jump blues genre. The song is reminiscent of the Swing Era’s big band jazz style, with its fast paced, swinging tempo. Overall, I enjoyed Louis Jordan’s “Caldonia” because of the style of music and use of vocals and instruments.
