Analyzing Ingmar Bergman's Persona '
Ingmar Bergman’s Persona examines how relationship can bring on change and allow human beings to take on another chance in life. In this film, between protagonists Elizabeth Vogler and Alma, comes from two different worlds however made a way to grow a bond in which shows women empowerment. There weren’t many films back then that express women and their emotion so Ingmar Bergman took on the role in doing so. Elizabeth was a woman who was suffering a enigmatic mental collapse while Alma was her nurse. The theme of sisterhood and hope was relevant within these characters and their ambitiousness of overcoming personal issues.
