Theme(s):
The theme that matched the movie is the understanding people and learning to accept them. Beacuse most examples in the movie of someone understanding a person and then accepting them lay within Edward Bloom’s stories. Edward Bloom tells these stories to people to teach them different lessons and within many of his stories Edward has met someone unusual or odd and he has acknowledged their “problem” and moved beyond it by helping them. For exampel: Edward helps Karl the giant by being brave enough to confront him then encourage him that his extreme height was a good thing and that although he was unlike other people he could still make a difference, compared when the city wanted
Another theme could be about living as you wish. Dont be afraid to live your life, no matter what anyone else thinks about how or what you're doing. Follow your dreams, and your aspiration, no one has the right to say no to your dreams except you and you are the only one that can make it happen, which was a perfect connection with, Edward Bloom and his journey.
